ASHNIKKO Ends North American Run of Demidevil Tour with Epic Night in Los Angeles (Review) Celeb

As ASHNIKKO readies to hit the globe after not playing live shows for over a year, we’re looking back at the singer’s North American Demidevil Tour and how amazing it was — especially for a first tour in quite awhile.

The Celeb Secrets team had the opportunity to catch Ash at The Novo in Downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 10), which was the last stop on her North American run of her world tour. Only a couple nights before, the singer/songwriter had to unfortunately postpone her San Francisco show due to contracting laryngitis, which caused her to be on vocal rest. Fortunately, she was able to get some medication and some well deserved rest in time to perform at her sold-out LA gig.

While Ashnikko was said to be feeling better, I will absolutely not discredit how difficult and impressive it is to sing and dance around the way she does, even when she’s 100% healthy. Despite her previous illness, Ash went on to put on an amazing show with so much energy and wonderful sounding vocals. If she didn’t share that she had laryngitis, we wouldn’t have even thought she was sick.

Ash kicked off the show with energy and excitement by singing her 2020 release “Tantrum,” followed by “STUPID” featuring opener Baby Tate. Baby Tate joined Ashnikko for the duet, where they were all smiles while dancing around the stage that resulted in a roar of applause from the audience in attendance.

The viral songwriter then sang “Working Bitch” while absolutely crushing all of the choreography from the music video. Other noteworthy moments from the set included a stunning rendition of her brand new ballad “Panic Attacks in Paradise,” where she introduced the song by telling everyone to give themselves a brain hug and to remember we need to hug our brains sometimes and take care of ourselves. It definitely set an entirely different mood for three minutes and fifteen seconds, as a once electric crowd found themselves calm and full of emotion.

To end such a fun-filled night, Ashnikko “closed” her set with a melody of all four of her Halloweenie series songs, fully choreographed and performed by Ash and her dancers. She described it as her “pop star moment” before leaving the stage, and we couldn’t agree more!

For her encore, Ashnikko returned to the stage to sing some new songs — “Manners” and “Maggots” — while officially saying goodbye with her banger of a single, “Daisy.”

Even though sick and tired, Ashnikko entirely killed it and I would see her a thousand times over if I could. If you ever have the opportunity to catch this blue hair firecracker live, 100/10 recommend! You will not regret it and probably have the best time you’ve had in awhile.
