Stacie George Promoted To Vice President At Live Nation
PHILADELPHIA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Stacie George, the veteran Senior Talent Buyer for Live Nation's Philadelphia operation has been promoted to Vice President of New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
George's new portfolio will include booking and overseeing Live Nation concerts in venues in the competitive New York and Philadelphia markets.
George joined Live Nation in 2006, booking shows at Warner Theatre, Sixth & I Historical Synagogue, Rams Head Live, Sonar, and DAR Constitutional Center. In 2008, she relocated to Philadelphia to handle booking at venues such as the Theatre of Living Arts, Tower Theater, Soundgarden Hall, Festival Pier, Susquehanna Bank Center, River Stage at Penn’s Landing, The Note, Academy of Music, and Merriam Theater.
"The best part of my job is I oversee a team that books shows into capacities of 100 ranging up to 3000 so we really enjoy watching an artist grow at every level," George told CelebrityAccess.
Prior to signing on with Live Nation, George worked at Heydey Entertainment where she started booked a small venue with a punk/indie rock format named The Khyber. According to George, within three years, she had expanded to presenting more than 700 shows and DJ nights a year at over 5 venues in the Philadelphia region.
When asked about her immediate plans for her new posting, George said, "I'm happy to be a part of a new Live Nation Theatre and Club team overseeing booking in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. We will be spending extensive time in all these markets and helping to continue to grow them from a base of what once was five venues and 600 shows to what is now over 15 venues and 1,200 shows. It's an exciting challenge and wonderful period of growth to be contributing to." – Staff Writers
