Stereophonics Drummer Fired
(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable has been sacked by the band he co-founded because of "commitment" issues. In a statement, Cable said that he was "stunned" to get a phone call from band frontman and childhood friend Kelly Jones telling him that he was no longer a member.
"I'm a founder member of the Stereophonics and I would like to stress that I did not leave nor ever had any intention of leaving the band," Cable stated. "I am, and have always been, a fully committed member of the Stereophonics and am very upset that Kelly seems to be saying that I was not committed to the band."
Cable plans to consult his lawyers about his firing from the band. Former Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman will be filling in.–Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
